Frozen banana bites with chocolate and salt

3 ripe bananas
1 cup dark chocolate chips
2 tbsp coconut oil
coarse sea salt or fleur de sel
tooth picks or small skewers


Cut the banana into a few pieces. Stick a skewer into each piece and freeze for at least 2 hours.

Melt chocolate and coconut oil on low heat in the microwave or over a double boiler. Dip the banana pieces in the chocolate and sprinkle with a little bit of salt. You can also use shredded coconut or finely chopped nuts.

Eat right away or re-freeze.
